Although sound healing can offer great benefits, there are some conditions that the practitioner will need to know about before the session so that they can either accommodate, alter the placement & distance of the bowls, or cancel the appointment if there are high risks for harm. COMPLETE Contraindication to Sound Healing with Inner Alchemist Healing Arts: 

• Pregnant women in the 1st trimester 

• People with epilepsy (seizure disorder)

The following people should inform the Sound Practitioner about the following:

 

  •  People with carotid stenosis 

  •  People with cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, artificial heart valves, or cardiac arrhythmias
  •  People with a stent

• People with a shunt

• People with a deep brain stimulation device (DBS)

• Around the neck in the case of carotid atherosclerosis.

• Artificial joints

• Metallic implants (plates, screws, etc.)

• Acute inflammation 

• Tumors

• Deep vein thrombosis in the leg

• Known thrombi anywhere in the body

• Post surgery before the sutures have been removed & the scar is not fully healed & closed

• Open wounds

• New implants 

• Whiplash within the first 3 days of injury
